PRESENTATION
The Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, Sociology and Social Work is part of the concept of European education based on democratic and educational values, tradition and innovation. The Faculty certifies its existence through its training orientations that correspond to the national and international tendencies in the field of society’s evolution vector, through the activities of those involved in the initial training process of future specialists, having as finality the launch on the labor market of well-prepared promotions, always capable to meet the demands of present time and ensure the development of our society. The Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, Sociology and Social Work focuses on the following principles:
- Students and teachers are the main actors in the educational process.
- Interconnection of science, higher education and the labor market.
- Orientation towards a modern, formative education.
- Openness to collaboration and cooperation.
- Openness to change and innovation.
The mission of Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, Sociology and Social Work consists in achieving valuable guidelines in the process of initial and continuous training of specialists to meet national and international trends in the development of psychology, education, sociology and social work, having as finality the launching on labor market of certain well-prepared promotions, able to always respond to the challenges of current time and to ensure the development of our society.
